Aarong is one of the largest social enterprises of BRAC established in 1978 as retail chain. Aarong invites

applications for the following position:

Position Name: General Manager, Retail.

Responsibilities:
To create an enjoyable customer experience which exceeds customery standards and services levels in the
country. Formulate and direct retails strategy to drive the business growth. Responsible for day to day management of outlets.
Coordinate and liaison with all support functions with the business to deliver operational excellence. Maintain excellent standards and organizational values in all areas of outlet operational activity to achieve core objectives of Aarong being a socially responsible organization. To install new items and features to increase the aesthetics and functioning of the outlets.
Manage new outlet opening programs e.g location selection, negotiation, lease contract, interior lay out,
construction supervision, entire project management to

Required Qualification, experience and Others:
Post graduate degree / MBA major in Management / HR from any reputed university. 3rd division/Class/

CGPA 2.0 in other academic examinations will not be considered.
8-10 years experience in retail outlet operations with 4 years experience in similar position by managing
multiple/ chain outlet operations.
In-depth knowledge on retail business operations.

Proven ability to lead and manage individuals and teams. An in-depth understanding of retail inventory management , people management and customer satisfaction management . Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Compensation: Highly competitive salary will be given.

Travel: Flexible to visit outlets/ locations ( inside and outside of Dhaka) as and when required.
